Shari Ulrich, Bill Henderson and Roy Forbes first got together in February 1989 for a one time only appearance at the Vancouver Winter Roots Festival. The artistic and musical success of that first concert lead to more shows and finally the recording of the their first self titled CD, released in 1990.
Since that time, UHF has become a fixture on the Canadian music scene, leaving audiences calling for more of the powerful acoustic energy of this unique talent pool. Shari, Bill and Roy continue to find the collaboration a refreshing break from their busy solo careers. So much so that during the winter of 1994 they found time to complete a second CD of UHF material. This continues the UHF tradition of solid playing and that inimitable blend of three distinct solo voices.
